Here in Georgia, we have our fair share of bugs. Some would say more than our fair share. Southern hospitality being what it is we leave the porch lights on at night just in case somebody drops by. At my house that typically means more bugs than people, and the spiders that prey on them.

In 1968 my grandfather, Pappy, died. My uncle Bill came home for the funeral and to collect some of his dads' belongings. Uncle Bill sorted thru his dad's tools, picked up an old wooden toolbox and handed it to me. I was nine. Years later I would discover that the old wooden toolbox and the two-door tool cabinet Uncle Bill gave me were actually my fathers. Dad had passed away when I was just two. So my journey began.
